Agility & Flyball

At the beginning of July 2009 Canine Concerns held our first course of Agility classes which have been well attended and all dogs and owners have had great fun!

Agility is nearly finished for this year and everyone has had great fun with both of our trainers, Lyn Wells & Lynn Paterson. We will start back again next year after Easter, so remember to register early!!

Beginners to agility are welcome but we do suggest your dog should have a reasonable level of basic obedience including stays, a good sit or down position and of course a reliable recall and must be able to work off lead. Basic training courses are held to improve these areas if required.

Flyball classes will continue on Sundays at 3-4pm starting on 24th October. All dogs currently attending flyball have had great fun and are showing excellent promise for us to make a team so we will run two classes - one for beginners to the sport and the other for more experienced dogs that will make up a team of dogs able to attend demonstrations or interclub competitions.

We also hold a Clicker Training class for fun and to teach your dog new skills and tricks on Monday evenings from 6.30 (subject to numbers attending/registering for this class) starting 25th October or Obedience for fun/competition on Wednesday evenings at 7pm starting 20th October.

Download a form for these classes here.

All dogs MUST be over 1 year old to attend Agility or Flyball, we recommend large breed dogs should be over 18 months. Vaccination certificates are still required and we suggest all dogs should be vaccinated against kennel cough.
